Community Health Education Center

Established in 1993 by the Boston Public Health Commission, the Community Health Education Center (CHEC) has trained and cross-trained over 1,000 outreach educators to deliver the most up-to-date and relevant health information to their communities. CHEC’s nationally recognized Certificate Program is structured to include six core courses and a minimum of seven health modules. In order to promote training across disciplines of health professionals, BUSDM provides lunch-and-learn seminars in oral health to CHEC outreach educators.
